We decided to rent a house 20 minutes outside of Mendoza in the town of Chacras de Coria. People from Mendoza come to Chacras in the summer. The town is a perfect size filled with small speciality shops and delicious ice cream. I’ve never lived in a small town, but it is amazing to me that I can be vetted places by telling someone my husband’s grandmother’s name.
The house we found is really special. I joke it might be the nicest place we ever live. It is set off the street and has a big garden with tall trees. The house is old and feels like it is filled with nice memories. I like the thought that we are adding to those memories.
